A un-named and un-used guard of "The Gateway" - a place between this world and the next which all souls pass through, Angelsblood sacrificed his eternal post in a pledge to save a woman prophisised over as a blood tie to his lineage.

Suspecting that this woman is his lost wife Khali from his former life, Angelsblood now seeks to deliver her from hands of an unknown enemy that intends to use her soul for dark purposes.

Mistaken by the human decendants of former comrades as an Angel, and bound to the world by his Blood pledge, he is "Angelsblood". With each passing moment, souls are decaying, will there be enough time?
